Plan introduction (Naganuma Farm Cycling Tour)

This is a plan to enjoy cycling with a view of Naganuma countryside in the northern land.
This time, we will be cycling in Naganuma town, which is easily accessible from New Chitose Airport and close to Sapporo.
In spite of its location, it is a popular spot in recent years for enjoying not only the rich nature of Hokkaido, but also a unique travel experience with its farmland scenery, rice fields, ranch, hilltop cafes, camping sites and hot springs.

There’s nothing like cycling in Hokkaido, with its blue skies, endless straight roads and vast open spaces.
Enjoy the scenic hills of Naganuma, the countryside and rural areas to yourself and refresh yourself from the daily fatigue!

This plan is also very popular with women.
It’s a full-body workout for the legs, upper body and waist, so you can expect fitness benefits.
Cycling while feeling the magnificent nature will fly by in no time!
Being able to exercise while having fun is two birds with one stone, isn’t it?

The cycling course is about 20km long, mainly on farm roads with little vehicular traffic. Road bike beginners are also welcome.
Before you start, your cycling instructor’s guide will give you a lesson on how to ride.
We’ll choose a course that matches your skills and guide you through the process at a speed that’s easy to understand.

The countryside of Naganuma can be enjoyed in various ways depending on the season.
You might even encounter animals that live in nature.
