Plan Introduction(Clear Kayaking to Blue Cave)
Shakotan Peninsula is located west of Sapporo and has a beautiful coastline.
Tourists visit here in the summer to drive the coast to see the “Shakotan Blue” ocean.
This tour offers a once in a lifetime clear kayak experience at the ocean recognized as Hokkaido Heritage.
Kayaking instructions will be given in shallow water before heading out to the ocean.
We will provide you with a unique clear kayak.
The clear kayak has a transparent bottom, giving you a spectacular view of the underwater.
Get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and allow yourself to step out to the vast ocean.
Clear kayak gives you a snorkeling like experience.
The journey leading up to the blue caves will take you along uniquely shaped cliffs that will surely leave you in awe.
The unique color gradient of the water and the sophisticated topography were created by volcanic activities.
Make your way into the blue cave!
The light entering the cave reflects off the water to illuminate the blue color.
This phenomenon occurs only because of the clear water quality.
This plan is inclusive of a tour guide who will be with you at all times, so no need to worry if you don’t have prior experience in kayaking.
The tour guide will also be snapping pictures of you during the tour, so you can fully enjoy the kayaking experience.
Photos will be provided at no extra charge.

*Participants are welcome to bring their own camera, but we are not responsible for personal items lost in water.
* Crocs are rented out free of charge
* Ponchos are rented out free of charge on rainy days

*This document must be signed by a guardian if a minor is participating without an adult.
Please submit to the event staff upon arrival.
*Pregnant participants may not board the kayak.
*In case of stormy weather, etc., there is a possibility that the tour [short course] will be conducted inside the breakwater. (Customers can decide whether or not to participate.)

*When making reservations, please input the participants’ height and weight.
*The tour guide has the right to end the tour midway in the case of bad weather.
