Plan introduction (Local Sweets Kibana Cooking Experience)
You may have heard of a popular Japanese souvenir called “Shiroi Koibito” . Shiroi Koibito is one of the top-rated Hokkaido souvenirs and it tastes marvelous. However, did you know of a snack called “Kibana” that is equally as popular as Shiroi Koibito and is produced locally in Asahikawa city? Kibana is well known in Hokkaido and it tastes as fantastic as Shiroi Koibito. This is a plan that allows you make your own original Kibana with your kids!
Kibana is named after diamond dust which can be seen during winters in Hokkaido.
The main characteristic of Kibana is its crispy almond galette. And sandwiched between 2 galettes is a creamy white chocolate that will melt on your tongue.
You can enjoy cooking your original big size Kibana with your kids in this activity.
Baking galette and
designing your original kibana with white chocolate is main parts of this activity.The facility you will join this cooking is called “Kibana no mori” and located 10 mins drive from Asahikawa station.
Participation fee includes 1 drink and 1 dessert at cafe in same building.The building is designed by a famous Japanese architect, Kengo Kuma, who designed 2020 Tokyo Olympic main stadium, and the beautiful wooden space will have you here comfortable and peaceful.
