Plan Introduction (Kiyosato Town Cycling Experience)

This is a cycling experience in Kiyosato Town near Shiretoko. Even if you are a beginner cyclist, you can join this tour with the support of an experienced guide.
We ensure that people who are not very confident in their physical strength, can enjoy the tour. The guide will take you to the top of Kiyosato Pass and Uramashu Observatory.

The Uramashu Observatory is one of the most beautiful spots in the Shiretoko area, so you’ll be excited even before you start cycling! And now, it’s time to start cycling!

From the Uramashu Observatory, you’ll cycle down the Kiyosato Pass, feeling the wind in your face. The guide vehicle will be waiting for us at the entrance of Kaminokoike, our next destination, so we can cycle at our own pace without feeling rushed. The next destination, Kaminoko Pond, is an unpaved road, so we will get off our bikes and head there with the guide vehicle.

As you can see, the water quality of Kaminokoike is overwhelming. As you can see, the water quality of the pond is overwhelmingly beautiful, and it has become a popular tourist spot in recent years, rivaling even the Blue Pond in Biei.

After taking some great photos at the God’s Child Pond, we took a guided vehicle to the Space Observatory again!

The Space Observatory is a scenic spot where you can enjoy the Hokkaido-like scenery of Kiyosato Town during the daytime and observe the star-filled sky at night.
After enjoying the spectacular view here, let’s get back on our bikes and ride down the Kiyosato Straight Road!

It’s like a road that leads to heaven. After the endless downhill ride, the cycling tour will end at the meeting point, Kiyosato Town Tourism Association Kiyoru.

As you can see, the cycling tour includes a car ride on the way, so even those who don’t usually exercise are welcome!
The cycling is basically downhill, so you don’t have to worry about getting tired at all. In addition to visiting popular sightseeing spots, you can also enjoy cycling as a typical Hokkaido activity and fully enjoy the Shiretoko area and Kiyosato Town!
