Asahiyama zoo *Stay for about 2 hours
The best zoo in Japan!
Asahiyama zoo became very popular since customers can watch animals from various angles which is very unique to Asahiyama zoo.
“Marine Way” for seals or “Seals Eye” for polar bears are quite popular.
Seven Star Tree
Seven star tree has been famous in Japan since this place was used in TV commercial of Seven star couple of years ago.
It is one of the scenic spots that represent photogenic view of the hills of Biei town.
Christmas Tree
After Seven star tree, we will visit Christmas Tree, which has beautiful triangle shape.
Tree standing alone in white snow literally looks like real Christmas tree and this is one of the most popular sightseeing spots in Biei during winter.
Shirogane Blue Pond(Aoi ike)
After chosen for the wallpaper for Apple Inc., this blue pond became one of the top sightseeing spots of Japan.
The blue pond is named after its deep blue color.
Although it looks complete blue only with certain climate conditions, this place is photogenic for sure and one of the top places you should visit in Biei.
Shirahige Falls
Shirahige Falls is a waterfall at about 600m above sea level in Shirogane Hot spring near Asahikawa city.
This falls was named after white water splashes of the falls like the white mustache.
You can enjoy the contrast between the clear blue and the white stream of the waterfall at this Shirahige Falls.
The river flowing through Biei, called the Blue River, is famous for its beautiful water color, one of the best in Hokkaido.
Shirahige Falls in winter is characterized by the contrasting hues of the bright blue river flowing through the landscape that looks like an ink painting.
This plan is the recommended route for those who want to fully enjoy the beautiful winter scenery of Hokkaido!
Even if you are worried about driving in winter, you can rest assured that a professional driver will be driving for you.
This is a fixed plan that cannot be changed.
