Plan Introduction (Mysterious Planetarium Noctiluca Tour)
This is the only snorkeling night plan in Hokkaido where you can enjoy a luminescent tour!
The “Shakotan Blue” sea, which is also recognized as a Hokkaido Heritage Site, is a popular tourist spot that attracts many visitors during the daytime for its beautiful view.
This plan is a limited-time luminescent tour in a cave located in the Shakotan blue sea.
You and your guide will light the way to the cave where the luminescent insects you are looking for are.
This plan includes a wetsuit and life jacket, so even non-swimmers can participate safely and comfortably.
When you arrive at the spot you want to visit, turn off the lights.
Snorkel under the water at night, and you’ll see an underwater planetarium spread out before you!
The glow of the sea at night is fantastic, and it’s a world like you’ve never seen before.
Also, as this is a night tour conducted at night, there is a sky full of stars outside the cave if the weather is good.
If you look up at the sky, you will see a planetarium, and if you look down in the water, you will also see a planetarium.
In this plan, the guide who accompanies you will take photos of your happy memories during the tour.
After taking the photos, the guide will share the data with you, so please bring back your happy memories.
(Please note that it is rare that we cannot take pictures because of the special environment.)
