Plan introduction (SUP Tour at Lake Nokanan)

Why don’t you try SUP, which is gaining popularity all over the world, in the great nature of Ashibetsu?
Ashibetsu is located about a 30min from Furano.
This is a SUP tour at Lake Nokanan, located just before the Sorachi River dam.
The flow of the river is very slow, so even first-timers can enjoy it.
Let the flow of the river carry your board along, and enjoy a walk on the water!

SUP (Stand Up Paddle Boarding) is a new type of activity where you stand on a special board and paddle through the water.
It has been called “cycling on water,” and is a water sport that can be enjoyed by people of all genders and ages, even those who are new to the sport.
Paddling on the surface of the water will give you a feeling you’ve never experienced before!

Even if you want to give it a try, but you’re not much of a swimmer… the appeal of SUP is that it’s safe and easy to enjoy!
SUP boards are larger and more buoyant than ordinary surfboards, so they are very stable.
You will be wearing a life jacket, so don’t worry and take this opportunity to try it out!

After receiving a lecture from the guide, the experience begins!
At first, you can sit on the board, but as you get used to it, you can stand or lie down on the board and play freely!
Another feature of SUP is that you can see more clearly in the water than with canoes or kayaks.
Stand up and look at the beautiful scenery from a slightly higher perspective!

Cruising on the water while looking at the lush natural scenery will be an unforgettable memory.
Whether you are inexperienced or experienced, let’s enjoy SUP in the great nature of Ashibetsu!
