Plan introduction (SUP Tour at Lake Kanayama)
This plan is a relaxing SUP experience at Kanayama-ko, a quiet lake surrounded by the virgin forests of Furano.
In recent years, SUP has been gaining popularity around the world, and it stands for Stand Up Paddle Boarding, a new sensory activity where you stand on a special board and paddle to move along the surface of the water.
Kanayama-ko, where you will experience SUP, is a lake located in Minami Furano Town, about an hour’s drive from Furano.
This is a soothing area where picturesque scenes reminiscent of a resort area unfold here and there.
The clear water that stretches calmly from the white sandy shore is breathtakingly beautiful.
The lakeside is surrounded by nature, and is a great place to visit in the fresh green season when the plants are budding, in July when the lavender fields are at their best, and in the season of autumn leaves!
If you want to give it a try, but you are not sure about it, SUP is the right choice for you, as the board is bigger and more buoyant than a regular surfboard, so it is very stable.
People of all ages and genders can enjoy it for the first time.
It is only in Hokkaido, a place rich in nature, that you can easily experience SUP while sightseeing.
After receiving a lecture from the guide, the experience begins!
At first, sit down slowly and once you get the hang of it, stand on the board, lie down and enjoy SUP as much as you like!
SUP, which balances the whole body, is also a great way to train your body.
After playing to your heart’s content, change your clothes and you’re done.
They also serve hot drinks to warm up your cold body.
It’s an easy 2.5 hour plan, but it’s a great way to enjoy yourself.
