Plan introduction (Lavender Hill & vineyard E-bike Tour)
This is a plan to enjoy cycling in Furano by electric power assisted bicycle.
There are more ups and downs in the course than other plans, and there are some routes that you can’t see by bike unless you have an electric bike.
First, we run down the Naka-Furano Forest Park in Naka-Furano.
It’s refreshing to ride a bicycle through the lush green nature of Hokkaido!
From late June to July, when lavender is in its prime, let’s go to Saika no Sato and the town’s lavender garden where you can see lavender!
The lavender garden is a work of art with lavender and other colorful flowers during the peak season, and the town-owned lavender garden is a must-see not only for the lavender but also for the spectacular view of Furano City!
This course takes you through the beautiful green countryside.
We will also stop at two sightseeing spots, “Furano Wine Factory” and “Campana Rokkatei”.
Campana Rokkatei, and…
Furano Wine Factory are both located at the top of a small hill, so you can enjoy such a view on the way.
It’s at the top of a hill, so of course there’s an uphill climb ahead!
Even though it’s an electric bike, it’s a good exercise for those who don’t have enough exercise!
Furano is famous for its wine, and the Furano Wine Factory is a popular spot where you can enjoy free wine and coffee tastings.
Late September to early October is wine grape harvest time and you can see the farmers picking the grapes.
Also, since this is the fall foliage season, one of the attractions of this plan is that you can see the beautiful foliage instead of the lavender.
After enjoying the great view, we will end up going to Domaine Raison, one of the new wineries in Furano!
Domaine Raison raises goats under the concept of creating an environment where humans and nature can coexist together.
You can even interact with the goats through the fence.
There will also be a free wine tasting and goat cheese tasting.
There is an extra charge, but if you would like to try feeding the goats, goat milk soft-serve ice cream and more.
If you want to enjoy Furano to the fullest, why don’t you join this plan?
