Hokusei-no-Oka Observatory Park
Hokusei-no-Oka Observatory Park is a park on a small hill in Biei town.
You can see beautiful lavender and sunflower view which must be photogenic on Pyramid-shaped observation deck.
You can enjoy boiled corn sold at the store too.

Shinei-no-Oka Observatory Park

Shinei no oka Observatory Park is located in the center of the Panorama Road.
The view from the park is beautiful, and the hills like a patchwork are exactly what you imagine of the view of Hokkaido.
Shikisai-no-Oka

This rainbow garden is well known and many of you have seen this picture on SNS.
This spot is must go if you visit Hokkaido!
Farms Chiyoda

You can feed many animals like cow, rabbit, or goat in Farms Chiyoda.
Also,there are restaurants or small shops near farm so you can buy your souvenir here.
Shirogane Blue Pond(Aoi ike)
After chosen for the wallpaper for Apple Inc., this blue pond became one of the top sightseeing spots of Japan. The blue pond is named after its deep blue color.
Although it looks complete blue only with certain climate conditions, this place is photogenic for sure and one of the top places you should visit in Biei.
Shirahige Falls
Shirahige Falls is a waterfall at about 600m above sea level in Shirogane Hot spring near Asahikawa city.
This falls was named after white water splashes of the falls like the white mustache.
Zerubu-no-Oka
Zerubu no oka is a tourist destination where you can enjoy being surrounded by the Asahikawa adn Tokachi valleys while immersed in endless fields of flowers such as lavender, sunflowers etc.
The name “Zerubu” is deprived from the words “wind” “scent” and “play”. From this observatory, you can observe the “tree of Ken and Mary”, which became a popular tourist destination after being used for a famous TV commercial in Japan.
Shujitsu-no-Oka
Although considered a tourist destination of Asahikawa instead of Biei, this field has been gaining lots of worldwide attention thanks to its steep long roads that provide a rollercoaster-type thrill.
At this viewpoint, you can see the full landscape of downtown Asahikawa, the Taisetuzan moutain range, and Tokachi valley in the same panorama.
This plan is a route to visit all the popular sightseeing spots in Biei and Asahikawa that you should not miss.
If you want to go sightseeing but don’t have much time, this is the best choice for you.
This is a fixed plan that cannot be changed.
