Snow activities to enjoy Hokkaido in the winter!
For those of you thinking Sapporo doesn’t offer many nature-related activities as it’s too urban, we have a special snowshoe package that comes with free pick-up and drop-off!
This package will bring visitors to Asahiyama Memorial Park which is located within Sapporo city limits for a fun snowshoeing experience.
As the park is situated 137.5 meters above sea level, visitors can take a glance at the beautiful snow-covered Sapporo city from the observatory.
Sapporo at night has a view that’s been ranked in the top prettiest night sceneries in Japan. This tour will be held during the day, but the view of the city and nature combination is a must see.
The park is also home to unique species of squirrels and birds, so visitors can enjoy snowshoeing and observing animals all on the same day.
Bring your binoculars for bird watching as well!
Snowshoeing is an activity that does not require any skills or prior experiences, so first-timers can definitely have fun participating in this tour.
