Plan introduction (Dog SUP tour)
This is the course to enjoy “SUP” which is becoming popular as a summer activity in Hokkaido.
The SUP course will be held at Lake Shikotsuko, which is called the most beautiful lake in Japan, and is easily accessible from Sapporo City (approx. 60 min. by car) and New Chitose Airport (approx. 40 min. by car).
This lake has become a very popular spot for canoeing and SUP in Hokkaido, so much so that no one who loves the outdoors doesn’t know about it.
And then there’s SUP, which is one of the marine sports that originated in Hawaii and is popular among people of all ages.
You have to stand on such a relatively wide surfboard and paddle by yourself with a paddle.
At first glance, it looks difficult to balance, but the wide board makes it easy for beginners to ride it!
In this activity, they will teach you how to operate the paddle and how to ride SUP before starting, so you can feel safe there!
When you’re ready, go to the lake!
When the weather is clear, you can see a beautiful picture of the blue sky reflected on the lake in front of you.
You will experience the graceful SUP cruising with such a view!
And in this activity, you can go on a SUP cruise with your family and your dog!
In recent years, more and more people have been signing up for the Dog SUP, but if you wish, we also have life jackets for your dog, so don’t worry about that!

You can also have your photo data taken during the activity, so you can look back at your photos after the activity to reminisce about your trip.

| 9:30 am | Please gather at the parking lot of the Lake Shikotsu Onsen Street and register for the tour. |
| 9:35 am | After changing into a dry suit, take the dedicated bus to the start point (about 5 minutes). |
| 9:40 am | Safety training and paddle training will be held at the starting point. |
| 9:50 am | When you’re ready to enjoy SUP safely, we’ve got you covered! SUP cruising starts! |
| You can enjoy about 1.5 hours of SUP cruising. | |
| 11:20 am | After the goal, you will be transferred to the parking lot of Lake Shikotsu Onsen Street by a courtesy car. You will be asked to change into a dry suit. |
| 11:30 am | When the change of clothes is complete, we will dismiss the group. |
