Plan Introduction (Half Day Hike at Mt. Moiwa Forest)
Did you know there is a mountain just 5km away from Sapporo?
Mt. Moiwa is a popular sightseeing spot with many trails that takes you up to an altitude of 531m.
There is a ropeway that climbs from the base of the mountain to the summit for a panoramic view of the city.
There are several hundred tree species in Mt. Moiwa and some age between 300-500 years old!
The primeval forest is designated as a natural monument and is a wildlife habitat.
Step inside the nature and use all five senses to encapsulate the wonder.
