Plan introduction (Moerenuma Park Cycling Tour)

This is a plan to enjoy cycling through the vast Moerenuma Park, where nature and art are combined.
With no public roads to ride and half a day to enjoy, it’s perfect for road bike beginners.

Moerenuma Park is an art park located in the northeastern part of Sapporo City.
In spring, cherry blossoms bloom; in summer, a water playground and a fountain open to the public; in fall, the leaves change color; and in winter, cross-country skiing and sledding can be enjoyed amidst the snowy landscape, making this a popular spot to visit throughout the year.

When you visit, you will be amazed at the vastness of the grounds!
With an efficient walk on your road bike, you’ll be able to get the most out of the park, even for half a day.

The park, created by world-renowned sculptor Isamu Noguchi, was created based on the concept of “making the whole into a single sculpture.
Dotted with mountains, fountains, and playground equipment with a lot of geometric forms, you can enjoy a landscape that blends nature and art.
Hidamari, a glass pyramid that is also a representative monument; Tetra Mound, a simple yet dynamic monument with two-meter-diameter stainless steel columns built into a triangular shape to form a circular mound of grass directly below; and Moele Mountain, an observation deck that offers a panoramic view of the entire park.

Before the ride, the guide, who is a cycling instructor, will give you a lesson on how to ride the bike, so beginners are welcome to join us.
